We got the news last week that my brother and his family are relocating to Cape Town in a few weeks. I am so devastated about it, and I feel I have to move to Cape Town too. Perhaps it sounds pathetic, but I have a unique situation in my family, in that I only met them 3 years ago, at the age of 36. I have become very fond of my youngest brother, and every moment that slips by when we are not "catching up" annoys me, because 36 years is just too much to catch up in one lifetime.
Maybe I am just pathetic. I don't care. I like me. If I decide to love with all my heart, nothing will hold back the river.
